Lagi, Kartun Nabi Muhammad Muncul di Koran Swedia

Wednesday, March 10, 2010

(sumber : Straits Times)

Catatan Kartunesia : Kebebasan berekspresi memang wajib dijaga. Tapi, menjaga harmoni dengan menghormati keyakinan paling mendasar, yaitu religi, rasanya tak bisa disingkirkan demi segelintir karya manusia.

Lorong Batu

Thursday, February 25, 2010

Yanus tak kuasa menahan diri. Hatinya timbul tenggelam.

"Bathukmu sempal. Trus gimana? Apa nggak ada kompromi?"
"Bapaknua si Wati bilang gitu. Anaknya mau dititipkan si Sawo. Mau dibawa ke Batam. Dia sudah pegel diuber hutang"

Yanus membanting rokok kreteknya. "Sawo ninggalin duit berapa se? Sini tak ganti. Ponakanku itu masih pingin sekolah. Masih mau belajar nari. Masih pingin merasakan baca buku dan diuber-uber PR. Berapa?"

"Sepuluh juta, Cak. Itu nanti tiap bulan mau dikirimin lagi. Minimum katanya sejuta"
Yanus mlungker. Kalau mengganti sepuluh juta ya runyam. Diam-diam ia membayangkan seperti yang diomelkan Diran. Kalau wahing keluar duit. Kalau ngupil keluar duit. Kalau ...

"Jadi diganti, Cak?

"Aku gak pegang duit segitu. Kalau dua ratus lima puluh ribu gimana?"
Diran mbesengut.

Yanus gusar menggelengkan kepala. Entah mengapa, ia merasa bakal kehilangan sesuatu. Ia jadi ingat pembicaraan dengan istrinya, "Anak itu bukan sekedar buah hati, bukan pula buah cinta. Apalagi onggokan daging yang tumbuh dan berkembang. Ia harapan.

Kini, Yanus menepi bersama malam. Wati telah pergi. Lolongan dan air mata bapak Wati masih terdengar. Tapi Yanus yang gundah mencoba tak peduli. Biarlah, biarlah semua mengalir dalam lorong batu. Bukankah persoalan hanya masalah waktu.

Why are hamsters ideal as pets? Hamsters are ideal as pets for people who are at work or school during the day since hamsters are nocturnal, which makes them active on an evening and at night, whilst during the day hamsters will sleep. Hamsters may be ideal for all those who cannot keep large pets in their property.

Hamsters are relatively easy to care for, odour from them is limited if the cage is kept clean regularly and they will provide hours of endless amusement with their busy and energetic characteristics. Hamsters come in an abundance of colours and coat lengths and there are several hamster species now available. Long coated hamsters will need regular grooming to prevent their coats matting.

Keeping a hamster requires a commitment from you to care for it during its life which is approximately 2 years. This commitment includes a routine care and time spent with your hamster. Caring for your hamster will go a long way to ensuring that your pet remains happy and healthy.

It’s really astonishing how such a small pet can become so tamed that it will even recognise its own name when its owner calls it! Having a hamster as a pet is worth it since it makes your life more joyful and wonderful!
